
Quran Reading & Islamic Studies Program

Build confident, beautiful recitation while growing in faith and character. This structured program guides students from letters to fluent reading, memorization, and essential Islamic knowledge—supported by caring, qualified instructors.
What students will learn

Reading & Pronunciation (Tajwid basics): Arabic letters and sounds, joining words, rules of noon/ meem, elongations (madd), stopping/starting correctly.

Fluency & Tarteel: Steady pace, clarity, and confidence in recitation.

Memorization (Hifz): Short surahs from Juz ‘Amma and essential duas for daily life—with meaning and context.

Islamic Studies: Foundations of belief (pillars of iman), fiqh of worship (taharah & salah), seerah highlights, and adab/akhlaq (manners & character).
Levels & placement

Beginner: No prior Arabic required—letter recognition, pronunciation, and reading simple words/verses.

Intermediate: Applying core tajwid, building fluency, memorizing selected surahs and daily duas.

Advanced: Applied tajwid rules, longer passages, hifz techniques and revision (muraja‘ah).
Class format

Small groups for personalized attention (separate classes for children, youth, and adults).

1–2 sessions per week (60–90 minutes), evening and weekend options.

Individual progress tracking, monthly feedback, and memorization targets.
Materials provided
Mushaf/reader, practice worksheets, and dua cards; transliteration support for true beginners.
Outcomes
By term end, students will:

Read the Qur’an accurately with correct pronunciation.

Memorize key surahs and essential duas and understand their meanings.

Develop consistent study habits and Islamic manners in daily life.
